While Masha Orlov's primary expertise lies in fashion - styling advertising, editorials, and runway shows - her diverse breadth of experience ranges from creative and art direction to costume design and wardrobing commercials, music videos and feature films, as well as publishing and content creation. She loves working within all aspects of fashion, culture and media.

Her career started in Paris while studying fine art and french, Masha became assistant to Suzanne Koller, the fashion director of Self Service. After 2 years of styling and writing for Self Service, Masha moved on to become the fashion director of Crash magazine. Since moving back to NYC, she is a New York editor for Purple Fashion, and has contributed to such publications as i-D, ELLE Intl, Numero Tokyo, Garage, Vogue Russia, Teen Vogue, Flaunt, Wallpaper, WSJ, WWD and Paper.

Masha has done advertising and consulting for Christian Lacroix, Issey Miyake, Zac Posen, Jeremy Scott, Christian Siriano, Mara Hoffman, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Swarovski, Gap Inc, New Balance, Stussy, Hugo Boss, Champion, Nike, Abercrombie & Fitch, PINK Victoria Secret, Alain Mikli, MCM, Repossi, Ebel, CND (Creative Nail Design), Benefit, Bobbi Brown, Il Makiage, Schwarzkopf, Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Apple

Her work with musicians and celebrities includes Beyonce, Rihanna, Chloe Sevigny, Kim Gordon, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Lou Reed and many more. 

She founded The Know Culture, where she is Editor-in-Chief, creating content and creative directing photo shoots. The Know is a website that takes a deeply explorative approach into inspirations, innovative themes, and society's phenomena. It is virtually unlimited in its potential scope of topics covering art, photography, lifestyle, fashion, health, environment, consciousness and many more.

Masha Orlov is currently based between New York and Los Angeles.
